  • What type of events do you specialize in?

    Soundwaves Entertainment specializes in events including Weddings, Sweet Sixteen Partys, Corporate Events, School Dances, Proms, Live Events, Bat/Bar Mitzvahs, Music Videos, Quinceaneras, Graduation Parties, Holiday Parties, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, College Events, Big Screen Karaoke.

  • Do you have a music library that I can choose from?

    Soundwaves Entertainment DJs have a very large music library to be able to choose from, having a library of songs from all eras and genres. If you have a preference you can make a list for us, or allow our DJ to create a playlist for you based on your preferences.

  • Do you have reviews or references we can validate?

  • Will you be the one DJing at my event?

    Soundwaves Entertainment has over 10 professional DJs (Disc Jockeys) to choose from or you can request a particular DJ. Take a look at our DJ’s Profiles Page.

  • Do you offer additional services, such as lighting and photobooths?

    Yes, Soundwaves Entertainment offers many choices to enhance your special event like, under table lighting, Basic Up Lighting, 2 Color Up Lighting, Wall Monograms, Dance Floor Monograms, Dancing On A Cloud (fogging System), Snow Flake Monogram, Star Monograms, Hearts Monograms, Corporate Logo Monograms Lighting, (Cold) Sparkular Machines, Phone Charging Stations, Photo Booths, Photo Lounges, Music Video Packages, Party Favors, Party Packs, Karaoke, Media Projectors, Wide Screen Video, Live Cameras, Sound Reactive Lights, Lighted Dance Floors, Confetti Cannons (Streamers), Sub Woofers, PA Systems, Fogging Systems, Flat Screens, Projectors (many sizes), Music Videos, Additional Microphones (Lapel or Hand Held).

  • What happens if I’m not sure about the music I want played at my event?

    That’s okay! We’ll work personally with you to create your own playlists of both music you want to have played and don’t want played. We have thousands of songs available in our music library, and would be happy to assist you in choosing genres, songs, or playlists for your event. We can also give you our expert recommendations if you’re looking for suggestions.

  • What if I can’t pay for the music services in full right away?

    Don’t fret about this. All that is required of you upfront is a deposit (which depends on the specific package you purchase from SoundWaves). After that, you’re emailed your remaining balance and have the option of a monthly payment plan. You don’t even have to wait for your monthly payment either- you can simply pay more towards your package costs any time during the month before or after you’ve made your payment.

  • What happens if I want to make modifications to my SoundWaves Entertainment package after the initial consultation?

    We never want to perform music that you’re not going to like. If you receive your music plan and later on decide there’s something you want to add or remove, contact your personal DJ in order to make modifications as soon as possible.

  • Are there any limits to the venues that you can DJ at?

    We strive to make it work for any venue that you want music played at. If you have concerns on how setup/takedown will go or are just unsure about how it’ll work at your venue, contact us to talk about all your questions free of charge.

  • How far ahead should we book services?

    That depends on a number of factors, such as your event, how many hours you want music, extra services you may want, and the music you want played. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible to schedule a consultation and ask any questions you may have regarding our services and how soon we can play your event. We promise to get back to you in 24 hours or less!

  • How much will the upfront deposit cost be?

    The deposit you’ll pay depends on the package you end up purchasing. Because we offer a number of different packages and personalize each package, there is no standard deposit cost. Feel free to contact us with as many details about your event as you can (type of event, hours of music, extra services/requests, etc) and we will get back to you in 24 hours or less regarding a price quote and that deposit cost.
